Kit De Vriese sets out defences available to States under international investment law for their measures in light of the Covid-19 pandemic

Kit De Vriese was invited to speak at an online event organised by the Università Bocconi (Milan, Italy) entitled ‘Covid-19 and International Law. Novel Strain or Old Wine in New Test Tubes?’. In the panel discussion, introduced by Professor Roger O’Keefe and chaired by Professor Sarah Nouwen, he set out the defences available to States under international investment law for their measures in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.
